Three tournament winners will play in 2011 WORLD SERIES OF POKER® in Vegas

Indiana Live! Casino, a 2011 WORLD SERIES OF POKER® SATELLITE LOCATION, is sending Alex Davis, Gregory Simms and a third player who wished to remain anonymous, to the 2011 WORLD SERIES OF POKER® Main Event in Las Vegas in July, where they’ll be competing against some of the world’s best poker players.

Gregory Simms, a New York City transplant now living in Indianapolis, grew up playing a lot of chess, backgammon and finally, poker. “Chess helped me get used to the stress of competing,” Simms said. “Going to Las Vegas is a great opportunity. It’s better than playing the lottery because the odds of making a lot of money and getting to the final table are more in the player’s favor than winning the lottery.”

Alex Davis graduated from Purdue University in May. He is a frequent poker player at Indiana Live! Casino. “I’m excited that I will now be a part of the big event that I’ve only watched on TV up to this point,” said Davis. “This is the biggest event in poker, so it’s a pretty big deal.”

Indiana Live! Casino is paying the $10,000 buy-in, accommodations and airfare for each of the three tournament winners. For more information on Indiana Live! Casino, !
